About us

The Université Numérique Cheikh Hamidou KANE (ex UVS), with the support of the Mastercard Foundation, has set up an innovative program called FORCE-N “Formations Ouvertes pour le Renforcement des Compétences, de l'Emploi et de l'Entrepreneuriat dans le Numérique”.

Launched in November 2021 for a period of six years, FORCE-N aims to contribute to the structural transformation of Senegal's economy, notably through the promotion of an inclusive digital economy and the development of skills in digital professions. FORCE-N helps young people prepare for their professional careers or launch into digital entrepreneurship by offering a range of complementary training courses (employability, soft skills or life skills, English), coaching sessions, webinars and master classes with professionals, and opportunities for exchange and networking with companies and digital professionals. Through its STEMD component, FORCE-N supports Senegal's high schools and colleges in their efforts to achieve excellence in science, technology, mathematics and digital education by setting up computer rooms, practical work rooms and providing computers for S1 and S3 high school students. To this end, we have set up a learning platform for Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Life and Earth Sciences, Technology, English, Philosophy and Digital Science, which can be accessed via the following link: sciences.force-n.sn. The STEMD component also organizes a series of activities in fields such as robotics, astronomy, programming, printing and more.

FORCE-N is an innovative, multidimensional program dedicated to employment and the digital world. If you are accepted into the program set up by FORCE-N, you will benefit from free support comprising the following five [5] components: 

  • Helping you formulate your personal and professional project [PPP].

    We support each of our beneficiaries in the formulation and development of their PPP, i.e. the definition of their professional goals and aspirations, and the actions to be taken to achieve them.

  • Support in developing or strengthening soft skills

    We support our beneficiaries so that they can strengthen their soft skills, and therefore benefit.

  • Support for digital entrepreneurship

    Our program offers specialized support to bring their entrepreneurial ideas and projects to life in the digital sector.

  • Strengthening technical skills in digital-related professions

    Thanks to an extensive range of skills certificates [lasting between 1 and 6 months], we enable our beneficiaries to acquire cutting-edge skills in digital professions, preparing them to meet the needs of the job market. FORCE-N's training courses combine online activities [online courses, webinars, etc.] and face-to-face activities [bootcamps, masterclasses, etc.].
